This very renowned course starts Tuesday January 22nd! Maryse Schembri is conducting her 90th class.
January is a time for many creative people to get in touch with their creativity and authentic selves. I am excited about doing another class. There is a great demand for a course that gives you excellent facilitation, creative exercises that move you to the next level, and group support. Aside from this group collectively going through the Artist way book by Julia Cameron, I have added other fun exercises including drama, dance and future projection. This course makes you accountable to the other members of the group and propels you forward in a very safe atmosphere while having lots of fun and making new friends!!
The cost is $495 for the 10 week course. You can also pay for the whole course at once or use a payment plan using post dated cheques! VOICE ACTING/SPEECH DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

Bring comfortable clothing and be prepared to shine above the rest! Through breathing techniques, enunciation and voice development exercises, and various copy work( that will be recorded) and dramatic exercises; you will learn the tools to make you a better speaker, and be able to recite different copy work (narratives, commercials, news reports) with ease and a beautiful speaking voice. This course is suitable for actors, public speakers, and anyone who wants to improve their speaking voice. So study with the best vocal teacher in town!! Cost is $130!!!(2 for $200!)

MUSIC BASICS/GENERAL MUSICIANSHIP COURSE LEVEL 1

SINGERS/SONG WRITERS/PIANISTS/COMPOSERS/GUITARISTS/AND ANY OTHER INSTRUMENT PLAYERS!!!!

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!!!! This is a must for any musician. Basic theory, ear training,(including chord recognition, sight singing (including solfege), music dictation, jazz techniques and simple conducting.

This course is divided into 3 segments (each 6 weeks long). At the end of the 3rd 6 week session, you should be able to improvise on the piano, sight sing written melodies, identify and sing intervals and chords, be able to decipher complicated rhythms, and have a thorough understanding of theory including basic jazz improvisation

This is a practical course designed for any one who wants to take their musical craft to the next level, gain a better understanding, and develop their skills. This course is also very helpful for individuals who are auditioning for music schools and singers who want to chart their own music.
